The Children’s Research Trainee network (CREST) is a research network in the North East of England which connects paediatric researchers with research active paediatricians. From newcomers to research with a great idea to experienced academics, we aim to support and promote you and your research.
CREST was originally conceived by Dr Claire Wood (paediatric endocrinologist at Great North Children's Hospital, Newcastle) and Dr Aisling Flinn (paediatric immunologist at Crumlin, Dublin) and formally set-up by Dr Ina Schim van der Loeff with Dr Josh Bennet, Dr Tom Altmann, Dr Jemma Cleminson and Dr Catherine Fiddes.
The current team is made up of Josh, Tom, Jemma, Christo, Fabian and Jessica.
